The Rapiscan 520S has been designed to provide all the features and high performance associated with the 500 series X-ray machines, while also maintaining compact dimensions. The large lockable castors and fold-up conveyors, combined with a narrow overall width of 734mm (28.9inches) enable the Rapiscan 520S to be deployed in space constrained environments.  A key benefit of the Rapiscan 520S is that it can be easily wheeled through standard size doorways whereas a full size X-ray machine cannot. The Rapiscan 520S has a tunnel opening of 550mm (21.35 inches) wide by 360mm (14.04 inches) high.
